Piece N Share

Yes, I've been busy quilting, quilting, quilting! I've quilted some more darling quilts and I just had to share them!
I love this one! She is going to add some more embellishments, but I think it's already so stinkin' cute!

Mary Engelbreit panel. Yes, love Mary Engelbreit!

Cute, simple quilt!

Whitnee's Figgy Pudding tree skirt! Yes it's all done, the tutorial is under way and she's got her home all decorated! I need to get over there and see it but I'm guessing it's darling!

The Chesney Skirt

Remember a few weeks ago when I made the Birdie Sling? Well I was joking at the time saying that I may just have to make some clothing for my daughter because it was so fun. Well today it happened, and not just once, but three times!

First, Kathleen and I designed and made the one made from Authentic material, it went quite well so I decided to make the one from the Santorini and the Essence. I LOVE all of them! I'm so proud that they actually turned out decent:)
My husband and siblings may just tease me forever about making clothing, you have to know that all of my childhood my mom made most of our clothing, including underwear for my sister and I, it's a family joke now. Now I'm making clothing for my daughter and I love it! :)

I'm should have the tutorial available within the next week so stay tuned!

Family Dinner Swap

Amy posted this great Family Dinner Swap on her blog. I think it's a great idea because I've never got any ideas what to make for dinner.
This is one of our favorite things to make and it's so fast.
Taco Soup
1 Can cream of corn
16oz Salsa
1 Can chili
Mix all of the above ingredients together and warm on stove.
Serve over fritos, topped with sour cream and grated cheese!
Super simple!
(serves 3-4)

Feathers

My picture doesn't do this quilt justice. (You can click on the picture and it will enlarge.) I will never forget the day that Kathleen told me I really need to start quilting feathers. I didn't want to because they looked difficult. Well, long story short, I decided to try them a year or so ago and I'm so glad I did because I LOVE them! Thanks for pushing me Kathleen.:)

I Spy

I have to admit, I've never been a huge fan of the "I Spy" quilts.

I recently had a cute customer bring this darling 'I Spy' quilt to me to be quilted and my mind is now changed. I love this one! It makes me actually want to make one,  I feel like it goes together so well but still has the fun to it!
Thanks so much for changing my opinion about "I Spy" quilts!
I would love to know if there are other cute 'I Spy' patterns out there, if you know of one please share! :)

Happy Halloween

Whitnee decided to put her sewing skills to action and whip out a Halloween costume yesterday!
This is what she started out with, I couldn't stop laughing! I told her maybe she could just go as a piece of super ugly fabric!

I guess she wasn't loving my idea so she changed her fabric costume into this cute Indian and made her husband be a cowboy!

Hope you all had a happy Halloween! We'd love to hear what you were!
