How to: Terry Velour Baby Burp Cloths

Happy Monday morning friends! It's been a while since we've had a how-to, so how about a super duper simple, but fun baby burp cloth tutorial.

These are another great gift. They are so simple, and a great way to show off some embroidery applique, and use your favorite print on the back.
To make:
For each burp cloth you will need one 9"x11" piece of fabric and one 9"x11" piece of terry velour.
We used fat quarters and were able to make 2 burp cloths from each fat quarter.
Begin by embroidering your favorite embroidery applique designs onto the front of the terry velour fabric.
These burp cloths feature the following embroidery appliques:

After embroidery applique is complete, place terry velour fabric and print fabric, right sides together. Sew around all four sides, leaving a small hole to turn the burp cloths right side out.
After burp cloths are turned right side out top stitch 1/4" in from outside, all the way around the burp cloth. This will close off the small hole.

That's it!
Enjoy!
