My favorite tip/tool is simple binding, yes, I don't actually sew any of my own bindings on, my kind mother, Kathleen, takes care of that for me, but I do prepare a lot of bindings, here is a tutorial how I prepare bindings, I cut them all 2.25" and do NOT press them in half before attaching them to the quilt. :)
