2012 Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery Quilt

Last year Genny participated in the 2012 Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery quilt, block of the month.
I always love seeing the mystery quilts after they are complete.
Genny asked me to custom machine quilt this quilt for her, I had a lot of fun with it, maybe too much!
If you look closely you can see that I had fun playing with the borders, the top and bottom borders are straight line quilting and the side borders are swirls. :)
Of course I have to share some detail pictures.

I just stopped by Fat Quarter Shop and noticed that they still have a few kits, on sale, for this darling quilt!

Have a great day!

  1. Your stitching is just gorgeous and so is that quilt!

  2. Such a beautiful quilt and your quilting makes it even more so!

  3. When you show a custom quilted piece, it LOOKS like you have lots of fun. Another lovely quilt.

  4. I made this BOM too - was just looking at the blocks yesterday and thinking that I must get them all joined up - very cool to see how you have quilted it, I may just have to 'borrow' some of your ideas!!

  5. Hi Natalia, I stop by often but haven't commented too many times. Your work is beautiful!!! I too have made this BOM and it is hanging in my sewing room on a hanger :(...NOT QUILTED! Your photo made me want to get mine done!! Could you emial me a price quote to quilt mine? our10kids@cox.net Thanks!!
