Paula has been one busy lady! She's making quilts for each of her grandchildren. I've shared a few of them, here and here. They are all so cute, I love that she is making each quilt to fit each grand-child's personality.
This adorable quilt is the most recent one that I machine quilted for her.
I machine quilted an all over swirly pattern, I love how soft this pattern is. I love what it does for quilts. :)
She's been using minky for the backings, the grandchildren love to cuddle up under it.
I love this quilt. Also love the swirls you did on the quilting. Very nice. I gave my grandchildren quilts last year for Christmas. Your pictures are so interesting they are inspiring me to make more.
ReplyDeleteLove this. Do you have any recommendations for using minky as a backing?
ReplyDeleteIs this her own pattern?

ReplyDeleteOh, I love this pattern also and the quilting will be so fun for one little girl. I'm also interested in the pattern. Any thoughts on where to find it?
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun quilt, I would be interested in pattern too. I have some Minkee stashed so you'll be seeing it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt & I love quilting! Can you tell me about minkee on the backing? I didn't know it could be used for machine quilting......also, I can't wait to get your new book! :)

ReplyDeleteI just discovered your site and I love all your work, everything is so fun and beautiful. Is this quilt in one of your books or do you have the pattern for it?
ReplyDeleteI don't see that you respond, do you share the quilt patterns? I would love to have this one and the one for Groovy Flowers... Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie,
DeleteI always email respond to every single comment. However, you are set up as a no-reply blogger so I am unable to respond to your messages. :(
The majority of the quilts that I share here on the blog are quilts that I machine quilt for my customers, I do not always know the pattern name. I always try to share it on the blog if I know the name of the pattern.
Thanks for stopping by,
Natalia
I love this quilt. Hubby got me a jelly roll for christmas and I would love to do this quilt. Is there pattern available?
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful. The quilting design works great with it. Do you use batting when you use Minkee backing or do you use the quilt top and Minkee only?
ReplyDeletelove this and would like to make out of batik jelly rolls for a special someone. Is there a pattern for it?
