Hawaiian Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

I recently custom machine quilted this gorgeous quilt for Carole. Carole lives in Hawaii so I think it's only fitting that the first quilt that I quilted for her is the beautiful Hawaiian quilt.

The quilt is big, king size big, and all of the blocks are made using embroidery applique. Carole shares more details about the actual quilt today on her blog, you'll have to check it out, she's got an adorable label.

When Carole sent me this quilt she asked me to custom machine quilt it for her. She loves geometrics and feathers, and pebbles and swirls. So, I combined all of those, and filled in the large negative space borders. I think they turned out really pretty.
Thanks for letting me quilt your gorgeous quilt Carole!

  1. Both the quilt and the quilting are stunning. Nice job everyone!

  2. Absolutely beautiful! I took a class in Hawaii on Hawaiian hand applique, and my pillow top has languished ever since. Time to pull that out and get it done!
