Sampler Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Before I headed off to teach in California I was trying really hard to catch up on some machine quilting, I don't know if I'll ever be "caught up" but I'm trying!! :)

Cat designed and pieced this beautiful sampler quilt for her local quilt guild block of the month. It's a beautiful quilt, and I really enjoyed custom machine quilting it for her.

Cat loves feathers, and swirls, and anything soft like that. So I decided to machine quilt this quilt with a lot of feathers. I really love how it turned out. The print fabrics really grab your eye, so the machine quilting really is secondary to the beautiful pattern.
