Spirit of Sacagawea - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

I'm currently in sunny California teaching at Road to California. So far, I've taught 4 classes and I've got 2 more to go. I've had great classes including piecing and machine quilting classes, and I just have to say, I've had great students in every single one of my classes, it really makes me love what I do when I get to spend my days with such great quilters!

Before I headed out of town I was able to custom machine quilt some really amazing quilts. This one, Spirit of Sacagawea, was absolutely gorgeous and I had a great time custom machine quilting this quilt for Deb.

This quilt was so much fun to custom machine quilt. I love that there were so many spaces to free-motion quilt feathers, point to point designs, echoes, clams and some other fun machine quilting designs.

I had to take a bit of a picture over-load. I loved the quilt so much I just couldn't stop taking photos! :)

Thanks for letting me custom machine quilt your beautiful quilt Deb!

I used Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe Batting and So Fine! thread by Superior Threads.

  1. I love your custom quilting. Your first book was my first book I bought and I still consult it.
    Thank you so much.

  2. Wow, this is so pretty. The piecing and appliqué is perfect and your quilting makes it that much better. Beautiful work all around.
