I'm currently in sunny California teaching at Road to California. So far, I've taught 4 classes and I've got 2 more to go. I've had great classes including piecing and machine quilting classes, and I just have to say, I've had great students in every single one of my classes, it really makes me love what I do when I get to spend my days with such great quilters!
Before I headed out of town I was able to custom machine quilt some really amazing quilts. This one, Spirit of Sacagawea, was absolutely gorgeous and I had a great time custom machine quilting this quilt for Deb.
This quilt was so much fun to custom machine quilt. I love that there were so many spaces to free-motion quilt feathers, point to point designs, echoes, clams and some other fun machine quilting designs.
I had to take a bit of a picture over-load. I loved the quilt so much I just couldn't stop taking photos! :)
Thanks for letting me custom machine quilt your beautiful quilt Deb!
Patter for this quilt is Spirit of Sacagawea, by Laurie Simpson & Polly Minick, more details here.
I used Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe Batting and So Fine! thread by Superior Threads.
For more machine quilting tips and tricks check out my books; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting and Next Steps in Machine Quilting.
I love your custom quilting. Your first book was my first book I bought and I still consult it.
