Free-Motion Motif's for Classic Quilt Blocks - With Natalia Bonner

I wish words could adequately describe how excited I am about my Craftsy class - Free-Motion Motif's for Classic Quilt Blocks. I'm so excited that I'm actually giving away one class for FREE!

So, before you get scared away by the fact that I'm teaching my class on a long-arm mahcine, don't worry, every single motif that I teach in this class is totally do-able on any sewing/quilting machine!

Last week I shared with you one of the darling panels that I use in my class. The panel is perfect for practicing your new machine quilting motif's on. But, I know that not all quilts are made from traditional quilt blocks, sometimes we have quilts with figurative type quilt blocks, and trying to figure out how to quilt those can often be a challenge. So, I also teach you how-to quilt this darling Farm Fresh panel, yes, I know, if you look closely it's hard to even tell this is a panel. But, it is and it's perfect for practicing on.

If you'd like to pick up one of these panels so you're ready to get quilting along with me once my class is released you can purchase this exact panel, or customize it from Pattern Jam.

Along with several fun free-motion motif's I will also teach you several designs using machine quilting rulers. If you'd like to pick up a couple of rulers before the class launches my favorite rulers are by The Quilted Pineapple. I'd recommend starting with a simple straight ruler and a curved ruler.

Okay, so do you want a chance to win my class for FREE?!? Simply enter here!

And, if you're wondering, I'll be demoing on a Gammill Premier Long-Arm quilting machine.

  2. Years ago I bought a series of Thimbleberry panels and found they are too traditional for those intended! I've meant to use them for children charity quilts, does it matter what 'style' panel we use? I'd love the practice & will pass these on to some little hugs.

  3. I am excited to take the class. I have a handiquilter but I know that will not be a problem. I have admired your quilting for some time.
