Dashing Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Wow - can you believe we're already a few days into 2017! I can't. Life has been a bit crazy over here. My family and I traveled over the Christmas break to spend the holiday with our families, we had a great trip and love spending time with them, but of course, we all caught some nasty bug. So between the four of us, at least one of us has been sick every day since. :(

I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and your new year is off to a great start! With my kids home from school and the craziness I did manage to get a tiny bit of quilting in and I finished quilting this beautiful Dashing quilt that Mary made.

The quilt is beautiful and as soon as I saw it I knew immediately that I needed to custom machine quilt it in a way that would really make the secondary pattern come to life.

I combined swirls, double pebbles, and a bit of ruler work to really bring the pattern to life and I love how it turned out. I really love quilts like this when I can bring the secondary pattern out into the border and tie it all together.
Thanks for letting me machine quilt this beautiful quilt Mary!
