Teresa pieced this darling Tula Pink sampler quilt and brought it to me for some custom machine quilting.
Teresa had give me the go-ahead to quilt this fun quilt however I saw best fit. I knew immediately that I wanted to do some really detailed custom machine quilting, and really make every single block shine.
My biggest concern when I saw this fun quilt was thread color, I didn't know what color would be best and I knew that if I changed thread colors for every single block it would take me a year to custom machine quilt this quilt. So, I decided to try out Superior Threads new Micro Quilter Thread, it's a really fine, 100wt thread and I knew that it would blend perfectly. So, I picked out a light yellow color thread and went for it. The thread blended perfectly and I was able to machine quilt this whole quilt with just one thread color.
Here's a bit of eye-candy for you to enjoy!
