Easter Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Can you believe that Easter is right around the corner? I can't! Where is time going? 

I recently custom machine quilted this darling Easter quilt for one of my local quilt shops, Quilted Works. I love how cheery and refreshing this fun quilt is! Perfect for spring and Easter!

The ladies at Quilted Works let me just have fun with it and custom machine quilt it however I'd like. They did want Wool batting for the extra dimension.

I chose to machine quilt straight lines but also a lot of flowers, swirls, clams and pebbles. I wanted to the quilt to have a modern yet playful fun feel to it.

I alternated background fillers, that's something I really like to do. So, the background in this block is clams.

I also machine quilted flowers in the purple border. They don't stand out as much on the print fabric, but they are a fun hidden element.

Quilted Works has kits available for this darling kit, and they pre-cut all of the applique pieces for you, making this quilt a breeze to put together. You, may need to call them.

I used Quilters Dream Wool Batting and So Fine! thread by Superior Threads.
