Carla made this gorgeous String Tulips quilt and sent it to me for some custom machine quilting. She liked a quilt that I had custom machine quilted with crosshatching in the background and asked me to quilt hers similar. Crosshatching is just such a classic pattern, you can never go wrong with it.
Besides crosshatching I chose to machine quilt straight lines in the small orange sashing and then in all of the outer border I chose to play around and get a little bit creative with some straight lines.
I love how the border turned out, a bit of modern mixed with a bit of traditional quilting. Thanks for letting me custom machine quilt your beautiful String Tulips Quilt Carla!

Very pretty and I like the simplicity of the quilting on this one.
