I recently finished custom machine quilting this fun Gingerbread Village quilt for Marilyn. Even though it's not Christmas time, it's fun to switch things up and quilt a Christmas quilt in March. :)
Marilyn made this fun quilt as a block of the month through Quilted Works, they laser cut all of those applique pieces, so putting the quilt together is so much easier. It looks like they still have a few kits available on their website, if you want to pick one up.
Marilyn saw this version that I custom machine quilted for Quilted Works a few months back and loved it, so she gave me free reign to quilt her quilt however I wanted. I used Quilters Dream Wool batting for the extra texture and then had fun adding little details to each block and border.
This is one of my very favorite little details I custom machine quilted in.
I love that it's so subtle, but so cute.
Thanks for letting me custom machine quilt your beautiful quilt Marilyn!
