Introducing Flourish - A Fabric Collection by Natalia & Kathleen for Moda Fabrics

Kathleen and I are really excited today to introduce you to our second fabric collection with Moda Fabrics, Flourish!

Flourish is calming shades of green, gray, teal and red. The prints stand out on their own, for accessories, pillow and garments, while the clean designs also work well mixed with other favorite collections.

Surround yourself with Flourish as we have. These are the colors you'll find in our homes, and the prints come from Natalia's machine quilting designs. The text print captures the quotes and inspirational messages we embrace every day... as we try to Flourish.

I recently custom machine quilted a couple of darling baby quilts that were made by my friend/client MaryAnn!

MaryAnn made this darling quilts for a set of twin boys, they're not identical, so even though the quilts are identical MaryAnn let me custom machine quilt them differently, and I love how they turned out! I had a lot of fun machine quilting them.

I recently custom machine quilted this beautiful quilt for Elizabeth Eastmund and Paintbrush Studios. The quilt is gorgeous and was so much fun to machine quilt on those yummy solids fabrics. I'm sure you all know that I love quilting on solids. I love that my machine quilting can really come to life. :)

I recently custom machine quilted this darling Beach Break quilt for Sondra. I've actually custom machine quilted a few of these cute quilts over the last few years and they are all so much fun to quilt. You can check out some of the others here.

Each one of these quilts are so much fun, I love the variety of machine quilting patterns that I get to use when I custom machine quilt sampler type quilts, and this one is just so bright and cheery.

Every once in a while I cook something yummy and each time that I share the pictures on Instagram, I always get requests for the recipe. So, I thought it'd be fun to share today's yummy soup.

Growing up my parents would make this soup and it was always my favorite, actually this year for my birthday I chose to make this soup over going out to dinner, and it's actually the only soup my husband considers a meal, win, win!
