Quilt Market 2011 {Day 2}

Today was great! I had tons of fun and connected with so many blogging and twitter & facebook friends.
I had to hit the Stash Books booth first. I was dying to see inside Fresh Fabric treats and let me tell you, it's awesome! You won't be disappointed!
(don't mind my wierd looking face in this picture :) )
Then I headed over to Bari J's book signing. Her book Inspired to sew is darling!
Kathleen had to hit up the McCalls Quilting booth. They even had an advance copy of the July/August issue and let us have a sneak peak. Those ladies at McCalls wrote the pattern for my moms' pattern, It's for the birds awesomely (if that's a word) you will have to pick up a copy of this issue!
Then I met up with Jewel & Sally. Sally and I have been long time twitter/blogging/fb buddies and I've done some custom machine quilting for Sally.
Then I visited the Martingale booth and checked out one of Amy's darling quilts, maybe I'm a little partial to her quilts since I did the machine quilting :)
This was the backside of the Michael Miller booth. On Thursday Kathleen and I attended their schoolhouse on color and trends and it was awesome!
The LakeHouse booth with Pam Kitty Morning's panels were super cute.
We thought these little ottomans were to die for.
After visiting this booth Kathleen and I were joking saying that now we want to go home and make clothes, pillows, furniture and quilts. :) I guess Quilt Market just does that to you. :)
I love this pillow!
Then I met up with Shari, she rocks!
This darling quilt was made from Shari's fabric and hanging in the Riley Blake booth. I love it! I cold totally do this type of curved piecing :)

Okay, I'll be back later with lots more from today. But I've gotta go to bed, I'm planning for another great day tomorrow!

  3. That apple core quilt...it looks like they just cut out the cores and sort of machine appliqued it to a white background...did they actually sew a white border all around? please do tell!
