I'm sure by now you're all getting sick of hearing about the quilt that I'm piecing. I thought that I would be able to piece the whole top on Tuesday, but if you've been following along on twitter or facebook you know that it's not done yet. It is getting close, today I will finish putting the blocks together and then I'm planning on sewing it all together. When I started piecing it on Tuesday I didn't realize that there are over 2000 pieces in this 72"x72" quilt, most aren't much larger than 1.5" square.
Anyways,
I thought today I'd share something other than that quilt!
I recently machine quilted this really cute Amy Butler quilt.
It's a beautiful quilt that really shows of those gorgeous fabrics!
Dixie wanted Minky on the backing and I think it quilted just beautifully!
I'm in love with this quilt.. how simple on the front but so perfect and elegant...I believe it's the perfect word (and it's been used in previous posts) to describe this quilt... STUNNING!
Love it!
