Road to California 2016

I can't believe it's already been a week that I've been home from California. Time sure does seem to be flying lately.

While at Road to California I was able to teach 6, full day classes and also attend and share my quilts and books at Roundabout. It was a busy week. But being able to meet so many new friends makes it totally worth it, and when their quilts start to come together, or something clicks in the machine quilting classes I feel like a proud parent all over again. It's so much fun!

I tried to take pictures of every single one of my students and their progress, but some of them slipped away before I got a picture...if you were one of those, please email me pictures! I love them!

I am very grateful to my dad who flew to St. George and then drove with me to California, and then took care of Brayden all week for me. I could not get half of what I've been able to get done over the years done without the help of my parents. I truly appreciate them!
All three of my machine quilting classes were on the HandiQuilter machines with some Superior Threads. The machines and thread were wonderful! Thank you to both companies!
 Progress in my Incline class.

Thank you Elna for providing fabulous machines in my piecing classes.

Loved the color combinations in my A-Maze Me class.

I had a few little helpers at Roundabout! :)
A few more from Incline class. These ladies were troopers! They took all three of my piecing classes, I loved their bright happy color combinations!
Some of my students came back after class to share the progress that they had made after class! Love it!

  2. Your son is adorable! So nice that he got to travel with you. I hope you'll be back in the area teaching as I'd like to take your classes.
