Prepping bindings on the Go! {a mini tutorial}

When Accuquilt announced their 2 1/4" die I new I had to have one!
I cut all of my bindings to 2 1/4" and with the number of quilts that we make I new this could be a very helpful tool!
So, here is how I cut my bindings on the Accuquilt Go!
First get out the Accuquilt Go!
Then I folded my material to get 4 layers.
I thought it did an awesome job at cutting 4 layers at one time.
Then I put the material on the Accuquilt Go! and cut away!
Removed the materials from the cutter.
Removed the excess materials.
Check out that perfectly cut 2 1/4" binding cut on the Accuquilt Go!
I will be cutting all of my bindings this way from now on!

Check back next week! I will have a few more mini tutorials using my new Accuquilt Go!

  1. NICE : after seeing this , now I am thinking I need to get one , again . I'm doing the back and forth thing with a GO! ( I can get 20% off of one at a local fabric store when I fill up my punch card ...... hmmmmm )

  4. I like the idea of cutting for bindings. I am horrible, I tear my fabric when I need long strips.
