Grandmas' Kitchen {the quilt}

Back in the fall Kathleen came up with the idea to make a quilt for my grandma for Christmas. We had seen some of Lori Holts' darling patterns and knew that they fit Grandma best.
My grandma loves to cook, she is a great one, so we chose to make her "Grandmas' Kitchen" quilt.
Kathleen, I, some of my cousins and some aunts all pitched in and worked on the blocks.
I didn't do this had work, one of my cousins did.
It's pretty dang cute!
We changed a few things around from the original, add a few, like peanut brittle, because Grandma makes some delicious peanut brittle.
Don't you think it turned out just darling!

Have you had your chance to vote for Kathleen in the McCalls Quilt Design Star contest? You can vote once per day per computer.
