Tablet Keeper Blog Tour—20 Days of Creativity & Prizes

Today I get to share my newest little gadget holder, a Nancy Zieman Tablet Keeper. At our home the Ipad is mostly played with by the 4yr old so keeping it a nice cover has always been something that is important. I have always just had cheapo covers that I've purchased, never had anything great that I was proud to walk around with.

I'm still totally crushing on Hometown by Sweetwater for Moda fabrics so of course I made my tablet keeper from Hometown.
Hometown fabrics can be purchased at Fat Quarter Shop or at Burgundy Buttons.

One of the essentials for this tablet keeper is the Nancy Ziemans' Trace n Create templates.

(which are pretty cool to work with)
I followed the pattern step by step, and I was quite surprised how nicely it all turned out.
I'm not one who is good at following directions, or even making anything that isn't flat like a quilt so I was very impressed!

Nancy is hosting a pretty cool give away over on her blog, the giveaway consists of a bunch of Clover notions that any sewer would love to get their hands on!

Don't forget to share pictures of your Tablet Keeper over in Nancy's flickr group.

Also, don't miss checking out everyone else's fun Tablet Keepers, I think it's a lot of fun to see the little twist that everyone else has put on their tablet keepers.

  4. Love your tablet keeper. I made one from another pattern and I think this one looks like it might go together more smoothly.

  7. Oh I LOVE your IPad cover!!! I love Hometown by Sweetwater too. Now I want to make one. I don't have an IPad or EReader but one of the other gals on the tour said something to the effect....if you make it...it will come. I do have 2 friends who have IPads. I just might have to make them covers. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Love your choice of fabrics! I also looked at some of your other stuff. Your burps look a lot like the ones I make for gifts.
