Star Quilt {Block of the Month} Quilt Along

Beginning February 9, 2011 I will be sharing one block per month for 12 months. I will share a complete tutorial for each block.
I am super excited about this quilt-along.

Below are two different color ways, just to give you an idea of what your quilt could look like from different color ways.
I will be making my quilt from this first color way, using LaPetite Ecole fabrics by French General for Moda fabrics.
Finished quilt size 44"x58"
If you would like to purchase fabrics for the entire quilt right now you will need the following:
Background 1 1/4 yards
Reds 2 yards
Blues 2 ¼ yards
Ivory ¾ yard

The first month we will make the Friendship Star
If you would like to just purchase just the fabrics for this block you will 1/8 yard of two different prints.

If you are participating please add our button to your blog.

  4. I'm loving this. I probably be waiting a while before I jump in this one -- I've got too many "irons in the fire". Ha! I Adore stars; so, this would be a perfect sampler quilt for me to practice triangles and HSTs with. :-) Thank you for doing this.
