How To: Free-Motion Quilt a Modern Pinwheel Block - Sunday Stitches

Are you all ready for another Sunday Stitches Tutorial? I'm excited today to share another fun, Free-Motion Quilting tutorial.
Today I'm sharing the Modern Pinwheel Block. In the block shown here I've quilted the Modern Pinwheel in each of the yellow squares. It's a fun block and just adds a little bit of detail to your quilt.

Step 1.
Begin stitching in the upper left corner of the block, stitch in the ditch around all four sides, stopping in the upper left corner.
(Orange line.)
Step 2.
From the upper left corner stitch a diagonal line to the bottom right corner.
Stitch in the ditch up the right side, then stitch another diagonal line from the upper right corner to the bottom left corner.
(Black line.)
Step 3.
Stitch from the bottom left corner to the middle of the black line, stitch down the black line to the bottom right corner.
(Green line.)
Step 4.
Stitch from the bottom left corner to the center of the black line, stitch along the black line to the upper right corner.
(Purple line.)
Step 5.
Stitch from the upper right corner to the center of  the black line, stitch along the black line to the upper left corner.
(Red line.)
Step 6.
Stitch from the upper left corner to the center of the black line, stitch along the black line to the bottom left corner.
(Dark purple.)

Cute and fun block isn't it!

I've created another stitch simulator video, I hope you'll find this inspirational!
