Kim made this gorgeous applique quilt and sent it to me for some custom machine quilting. Kim gave me the go-ahead to quilt it as I wanted. I knew that it needed some fun custom machine quilting to really make her fabulous applique pop.
I decided that it would be really fun, and modern if I quilted straight lines, about 1/2" apart in all of the background applique. But, to create more interest I switched direction of the straight lines in every other block. I love how it turned out.
