Red Rock Modern Quilt Guild - Fat Quarter Challenge - Edge to Edge Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

My local Modern Quilt Guild, Red Rock Modern Quilt Guild, issued a fun fat quarter challenge a few months back. Each member purchased 5 fat quarters from our local quilt shop, Quilted Works, and we were challenged to make a quilt using the fat quarters. The quilt could be any size, there just needed to be a noticeable amount of each of the fabrics in the quilt.

This Thursday is our guild meeting. I do have my own quilt top finished, but most likely I'm not going to be able to get it quilted before the meeting.

Jen, however was on top of this challenge and got her quilt top all pieced and I was able to machine quilt it for her a few weeks back.
The fabric has some cute raindrops in it so Jen though it would be fun to quilt the quilt with an edge to edge pattern that had raindrops in it. We found the perfect pattern and I machine quilted it for her. I just love how this quilt turned out!

Pattern for this fun quilt is Checkmate by Lellaboutique.

Thanks for letting me machine quilt your beautiful quilt Jen!

I used Quilters Dream Batting and So Fine! thread by Superior Threads.
