Quilt Market day two held some very exciting events!
I first got to meet one of my idols, the amazing Kate Spain.
Kate was introducing her new line Central Park, it's darling, and she is too!
I've already made one quilt from Central Park and I hope to make more!
Then I headed over to the Moda booth.
The very most exciting part was their notions & patterns.
Those are my patterns!
Yes, my new patterns that will ship December 1st and Moda / United Notions has picked them up!
I should have been jumping up and down in the booth because I was so excited!
You can preorder your pattern on our website.
I loved this quilt made from hexagons, I'm really loving hexagons right now.
I forgot to share this picture yesterday, this is the AMAZING Shari of Doohikey Designs with her cute Hooty Hoot Kangaroo and the quilts that I quilted for her.
I guess I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I did but it was an awesome experience.
Some other highlights include;
meeting Julie of Jaybird Quilts
meeting Lissa of Moda Lissa
meeting Trish of Two Peas in a Pod
I tried to chase down Quilt Dad but he walks too fast
The guys behind Quiltvertiser & Find My Fabric
Linda Taylor and Val (val actually taught me how to use my longarm 3 years ago)
meeting Pat Sloan & getting a signed copy of her new book
The Wooly Lady (one of my favorite booths)
The Buggy Barn Ladies, Pam & Janet
stalking Susanne of Stash Books
Picking up a new die for my Accuquilt Go!
Getting some more So Fine thread from Superior Threads
Learning how to actually use my Bernina
attending the Moda party at Minute Maid Stadium & then riding back to our hotel on a little bike contraption
visiting family who live in Houston
Most of all it was fun to spend time with my mom and two sisters!
