Pillow Case Dress {sewing for children}

I got this crazy urge yesterday to make something other than quilts. It's was kinda fun to take on a new challenge.
The tutorial that I used suggested using ribbon to tie the neck part. I didn't have any ribbon so I just made a little fabric bow and I even got my husband to iron it!
I finished making it while my daughter was sleeping and when she woke up she thought it was the coolest thing ever. She's pretty sure she is a princess in it. :)

  2. Your daughter sure looks like a princess in that dress. She is adorable. I love it.

  3. She's so cute! Love the dress, too.

  4. OH ! HOW PRECIOUS ! She's just a little model ! thanks for sharing and how do you get him to do your ironing ? I'm not sure my husband has ever used an iron .... let alone iron for me while sewing !

  5. Of course she's a Princess! She comes from a line of Quilting Queens. :)
    I love it! The colors are great too.
