I designed this fun Argyle Christmas Quilt to be featured in Fat Quarterly. I love how it turned out.
I think I'm having a holiday quilt fetish right now. With this one, the Winter Wonderland & Snowflakes are Falling my house is going to be covered in quilts.
The complete pattern will be available in the special Holiday edition of Fat Quarterly available this week!

Now that's a Christmas quilt!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you do so much argyle! I'm completely obsessed with argyle right now! I'll be doing your argyle boys quilt some time soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really beautiful quilt and something different, love it. I need to start thinking of what I want to make.

That is really beautiful. Love the color green you chose.

I love this! Great job! Somehow the quilting and colors make it look like its some kind of soft fleece or something...weird! Love the look!

Natalia, U R too young to remember this of course but Argyle was sewwwwwwwwww hot in the late 50's after a golfer Payne Stewart began wearing them. They were also hot in the 30's and NO I am not that OLD. But you may just may be the one who is responsible for the resurgence of argyle once again...I can see it in the headlines... Any hoo...this is like holly berries in the wild...
ReplyDeletePiece be with you ..madame samm
Oh dear. I really really like the argyle look. Oy!
ReplyDeleteCovered in quilts for Christmas is a very cozy idea and used some of that green that I ordered from you!
ReplyDeleteNatalia that's a wonderful quilt - I can understand why you would love holiday quilts. I confess I don't think I've read Fat Quarterly. I haven't seen it on the newsstands here - I check them out pretty often. The stores here aren't great about carrying a variety of quilt magazines. blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteWow. How exciting for you and I love your quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love this one!! It is such a great modern holiday design!
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinkin' cute! I saw that you're doing the Riley Blake Cutting Corners thing now, too. We have SO MUCH in common! hahaha :o)

ReplyDeleteNatalia, my very fist quilt was your Im Blushing. I have just got my Fat Quarterly and seen your Xmas quilt. Can I just say that I think you are one of the most talented quilt designers around today - wonderful use of shape and colour and I love the combination of geometry and whimsy. I love the argyll in this quilt - sooooo clever. Totally wonderful!
