A Christmas Quilt

I've been working on a new pattern.
A Christmas Quilt.
I can't wait to share the whole quilt with you!
I had a really busy weekend;
I attended a lecture by Dr. Bob of Superior Threads
I did the all night sew,
then pieced two other quilt tops.
That's three quilt tops this weekend! YES it was a lot!
But I feel so much more caught up!
Hope you had a great weekend,
did you do anything super fun or just relax?

  1. wow, 3 tops pieced, that's amazing! I finished one top, then pieced the backing for it on Saturday, then went with hubby on Sunday and picked about 7 pounds of wild chanterelle mushrooms!

  2. I can't wait to see the entire quilt, I love everything christmas. I didn't get any quilting done this week but I did have 2 of my pieces in an exhibition on Saturday which I attended & I stitched & cut out some more christmas decorations :-)

  3. Ooh, this is gorgeous.......can't wait to get a little more perspective on the size. I can't figure out how the dark and green strips are applied !

    I finished knitting a shawl, and enjoyed some late yard sale shopping via the October Fest celebration. Found an octagon shaped table for beside the recliner, so I'm wanting to run up a quick little quilt to top it.

  4. Looks like I am going to have sit down and work on my machine buttonhole stitch. Loving how that top looks and we can only see a peek!

  8. I'm so jealous. I haven't had any quilting time all week. On Saturday we went for a flight over the ocean in search of whales. I have yet to actually see any. On Sunday my husband took my son to see the Blue Angels in San Francisco and I stayed home with my daughter and carved pumpkins and baked cookies.

  9. looks great!
    You would be proud of me, I machine quilted a baby quilt during Sesame Street today! I also finished piecing the main part of my 9-patch quilt (still needs 2 borders.)
