My friend Tina Lewis designed and made this gorgeous Cacophony quilt a few months back. She sent it to me and asked me to custom machine quilt it for her.
Tina has such a cool way of designing patterns, and her piecing and applique is perfect so it's always such a joy to machine quilt her quilts.
When I machine quilted this quilt I used some of my favorite tools, a straight ruler and one of my Quilted Pineapple curved rulers.
So Fine! & Bottom Line Thread by Superior Threads.
Thanks again Tina, for letting me quilt this quilt for you!

This quilt is so beautiful! Your quilting puts the final touch on it! :)
ReplyDeleteCan I ask - what order did you quilt (not piece) this? I would like to try it, but I am not sure if you start and stop at each line or if you continue on, doing a 90 degree turn twice to return to the next straight line? I always get caught up in what the back will look like and that keeps me from trying a new quilt pattern. I want the back as pleasing as the front. Advice??? Video??? Thanks!!
