Quilted Name Tag

Quilt guild is this week! I get so excited for quilt guild! This year  instead of just doing door prizes you have to have your quilted name tag to be eligible to win a prize.
So I spent a couple of hours today making my quilted name tag.

Here's my name tag. I decided to make it as a necklace rather than pinning it on my shirt.
What do you think?

  1. Very cute! I made mine also for my guild but it had to be kind of big because they give out ribbons for finished projects. I like you little one a lot. That would be much nicer to wear.

  2. Oh, it is so cute! How tiny are the pinwheels?

  3. Your name tag is adorable. My quilt guild does the same thing, but I still have to make mine.

  4. I love the pinwheels! They are so cute and the colors are very pretty! It is a great little necklace! Wear it with pride!

  5. Love the name tag. Very cute and functional. Also love your blog and all your tutorials.

  6. so cute and your tiny pinwheels are perfect!!!

  7. very cute, I will have to keep that in mind when I need a nametag of sorts.

  8. Cute! I made tiny patchwork today, too, I should take a picture. :)

  9. How fun is that! So cute. I haven't been to a quilt guild before. I probably should find one by me and go some time.

  10. Very cute! We do that at our guild too!! I'll have to post mine.

  11. Very nice - we have to make new name tags for a retreat and have a piece of denim to start with. I am not sure what I am going to do but I am thinking of a bag to wear around my neck.

  12. Great! Love the necklace instead of a pin - and this photograph is fabulous - the white against that awesome quilted dark brown background!

  13. Love your name tag - it's given me an idea for a luggage label for my suitcase, thanks!

  14. Reading your excitement makes me want to join a guild (I don't even know if there is one around here...) Your name tag came out great. I agree with making it a necklace...I wouldn't be surprised if the other members alter their's after seeing yours.
